“Radiant soprano…graceful and expressive…strong of voice and dramatic demeanor…sings beautifully…stood out vocally.” The Wisconsin State Journal, Capital Times, Montgomery Journal, Baltimore Evening Sun.  The dramatic soprano has performed throughout the United States and in Northern Europe in opera, operetta, musical theater revue, concert, choral, and recital genres.  Having sung with such conductors as Benton Hess, Stephen Cleobury and Richard Westonburg, her acclaimed performances vary from Madame Lidoine in Dialogues of the Carmelites, Female Chorus in Rape of Lucretia, Eleanor of Aquitaine in Flower and Hawk, and Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte, to vocalist in Pierrot Lunaire and Le Marteau sans maître.  With her “stellar ear” and excellent reading skills, the soprano has been sought after for her pristine delivery of Contemporary vocal music as well as French mélodie and German lieder.  Mr. Thomas Grubb, author of Singing in French called her performance of Ravel’s Shéhérazade “Unbelievably good.”  Roles prepared include Elektra, Brünnhilde in Die Walküre, Senta in Der Fliegende Holländer and Alice Ford in Falstaff.  Educated at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, MD, the soprano is comfortable as both a concert soprano and mezzo-soprano soloist. Kathleen M.
