The Department of Music at the University of Maryland Baltimore County invites applications from local soprano artists with teaching experience. 

Teaching Duties:

  • Instruct approximately 7-12 undergraduate students, both music majors and non-majors, in healthful and musical vocal performance. Prepare majors in Music for solo performances and juries. 


  • Minimum degree, MM in vocal performance.
  • Professionals with college teaching and an active singing career are encouraged to apply.

Job Duties:

Develop custom, long term music lesson plans for each student
Teach private lessons to students of all ages, levels and abilities
Active and contributing member of the International School of Music
Prepare students for optional performance opportunities
