Part-time, available beginning in September or until position is filled, 10-15 hours a week, 25K a year. Duties include: conducting the 8-voice professional choir, which sings weekly for the Latin Mass; assisting with the children's choir; and serving as either cantor or organist for the English Masses. Rehearsals are held on Sundays immediately following mass (no evening rehearsals). Knowledge of traditional repertoire and chant is necessary. The director of music is responsible for the overall coordination of the music program: coordinate the rehearsal, training, and instructing of all choirs/ensemble groups, (handbell choir, women=s choir, youth choir); and, plan the music for each worship service in close collaboration with the senior pastor. Further, this person directs the adult choir and conducts weekly adult choir rehearsals on Thursday evenings, or as scheduled.
