Christ Lutheran Church (ELCA), in the Federal Hill and Inner Harbor neighborhoods of Baltimore, is seeking a tenor section leader to start immediately. The section leaders form a quartet at the 8:30am service and augment the volunteer choir of 26 members at the 11:00am service. The repertoire ranges from Bach cantatas to standard Anglican anthems to spirituals to contemporary repertoire by composers like Tavener and Lauridsen, and is usually identical between the two services.
Shrine of the Little Flower, Baltimore, MD has an immediate opening in the tenor section. Normal Sunday call from 10am till 12:30pm. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church ( 1833 Reston Avenue, Herndon, Virginia) is looking for a paid tenor section leader to begin immediately.
Good Shephard has a very unique and strong choral and music program. The semi-professional adult parish choir, about 45 strong, sings each Sunday, nine months a year, at the 11:00 AM Service.
