One Service each Sunday

Rehearsal 10:30, 11:00 Service and Rehearsal after service till 1:00am
On the first Sunday of the month there is a 10:00am rehearsal before the Service at 11:00 and no rehearsal after church.

12 voice professional choir of Christ Church, Georgetown (Episcopal) Requirements: Strong overall musicianship and sensitivity to ensemble singing. Compensation: $110 per call (combined rehearsal and service, approx. 2 hrs. total) $8,800 per year potential Responsibilities: (No mid-week rehearsals) Each Sunday 10:15 am rehearsal for 11:15 am service 1st & 3rd Sundays (October–May) 4 pm rehearsal for 5 pm Choral Evensong Additional services for Holy Week, Easter and Christmas. The Choir of The Church of the Epiphany, at Metro Center in Downtown Washington, D.C., seeks a Bass/Baritone to support choral singing and to perform occasional solos. The mixed adult choir of ~ 16 members, of whom 6 are paid (with all positions filled), is a diverse, talented group with good esprit de corps, and one which loves a challenge. Repertoire is a diverse mix of classical and arrangements of traditional American music.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church ( 1833 Reston Avenue, Herndon, Virginia) is looking for a paid bass/baritone section leader to begin immediately. Good Shepherd has a very unique and strong choral and music program. The semi-professional adult parish choir, about 45 strong, sings each Sunday, nine months a year, at the 11:00 AM Service. The call time is 10:20 AM. Each Sunday’s repertoire includes a complete setting of great and different Lutheran Hymns, Mass ordinary and anthems, We sing a variety of literature: from Handel’s Messiah, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Faure Requiems to Gospel, spirituals and Taize.
